  I await every year, for the academic year to start, to be amidst bright young minds. To mold and nurture their quest and enabling them to attain their fullest potential. It is indeed a privilege to be part of their exciting journey of the final years of college life, that is promising and full of aspirations and I am infected by their enthusiasm and charm. I believe in the quote, "विद्याधनं सर्वधनं प्रधानम्” and believes in sharing my experience with the students.

  My dear students, being with you keeps me on my toes, gives me wings to fly and keeps me "Eternally Young". Teaching to me is Elixir of my life!!

  I am a Financial Professional, who has a varied experience from Stock Broking, Registrar and Share Transfer Agent, to Merchant Banking and working with NBFC. In the beginning of my career in Financial Services, participated in the physical trading ring’s open outcry system of the BSE and have witnessed its evolution from the physical ring to online trading terminals and now to algorithm trading. However, I believe, it is still driven by two primitive and powerful emotions ‐ Greed and Fear. I am a Financial Literacy Activist and over the last two decades conducted numerous workshops, seminars for students and housewives.

  I turned to Academics later in life, as it was my heart’s calling and presently working as Professor with University of Mumbai’s DES’s Navinchandra Mehta Institute of Technology and Development.

  I love travelling to enthralling and offbeat destinations in India and abroad and am an avid reader and practice holistic living based on the timeless principles of Indian wisdom and scriptures.

  I have grown up surrounded by books. I was called a bookworm, and the labor of love for me is writing. I have written over 12 textbooks for students of University of Mumbai and am presently launching a book on Kindle, entitled, "How You can Make a Million on the Stock Market". This is my memoir of the Stock Broking experience at Bombay Stock Exchange, my investment journey and it also showcases some of the interesting investment journeys of my students of yesteryears who now belong to the upper echelon of the India Inc.
